I think that this is my most favorite little black dress in my closet. It is different because of the intricate design on its slightly sheer sleeves. Rather than covered in a the normal pattern usually found on lace, my arms are transformed into a kaleidoscope vision of waves. The zipper up the back is modern and the shape is sleek. It is basic but far from boring. The little black dress never fails and jumps from season to season with little to no effort. I question the need to own anything else. Even though this season is geared up to be rich in color and pattern, there will days set aside for when I want to be painted black (as Mick Jagger would say).

Oh, and for those of you who asked - yup, I did cut my hair, but just a tad. I got some much needed layers while I was abroad. I still have my length, especially in the back, but my hair feels so much lighter and healthier now! I love it, but I will continue to let it grow this spring and well into the summer. I am a long haired bohemian girl at heart.
