Dress - Old Navy, Belt - vintage, Shoes - Stuart Weitzman, Purse - Burberry
Like every spring season, tribal prints seem to always make their way back onto the trend board alongside flamboyant florals (Dolce & Gabbana) and digital graphics (Givenchy). This leopard print dress has been in my closet forever, but I cannot seem to let it go. It made the perfect cover up for my vacation in Hawaii last summer, but when paired with a sleek belt and some cool wedges, it is definitely more tribal city girl. I am usually too scared to accessorize too much with this dress because it is black and maroon rather than the normal brown and beige colors. But I found that pairing brown and black accessories with the dress really worked. I decided to wear my little structured purse because it matched my shoes. It is a timeless, classic piece that knows no limits of usage. I can wear it with any outfit, and it does a fabulous job of urbanizing the wild print of my dress! Anyone ready for a safari?
The weather has been absolutely beautiful these past few days. All I want to do is be outside! This warmth sure makes it easier to be healthier. Now that I don't have to be cooped up inside all day, I am using my free time to jump rope outside as the sun sets. I'm no athlete, but I am a huge fan of staying active. Good thing, too, since I see a lot of short hemlines in store for us this spring.
Have a happy Friday everyone! I am looking forward to hopefully seeing The Runaways this weekend. Anything rock and roll is an A+ in my book.
