Feel the weight of it all just drift off on a cloud to another time

Tie-dye drop crotch pants from Metro Gaisano Dept. Store, vintage glittery top

The kitty kats are back in the game and this time with a vengeance. My good friend and ever so loyal blog supporter hurricane Honi is back on the island and ready to take the plunge and jump into baby-making bliss. Hoorah!

The overwhelming aftermath of the Vogue article means one interview after another and whilst usually uncomfortable with that kind of attention, I am insanely proud to be able to get my humble little country on any international list, especially when its for a publication as prestigious as Vogue. My friend Earl jokingly told me "the pressure is on" which made me gasp in terror and then giggle in disbelief. I have been asked more than once this week if I had a tip or two for would-be bloggers, which again made me blush because well, lets face it, what do I really know about blogging. My answer was simple, just stay true to yourself and don't take blogging too seriously. After all, it is just a way for you to express yourself and we should all just be allowed to let loose and say anything, no matter how ridiculous or unimportant that may seem.

In an effort to re-train my distracted hands, yesterday I sat myself down in front of my sewing machine and made myself a high waisted maxi skirt. The start was a bit rough, but I'm quite happy with the result.. Now I'm just hoping that the weather in Cebu will be a little cooler when I arrive there in a month or so. This heatwave is insane!

Oh and doesn't the tie-dye print on my pants remind you of the space photos NASA takes? Just sayin'.

PS: Formspring here, and check out my pages tabs underneath my header. Trying to de-clutter the blog because I couldn't find anything on it anymore!
