Jacket - Volcom, Button-front Shirt - Forever 21, Striped Top - vintage Ralph Lauren, Jeans - Free People, Shoes - ModCloth, Beanie - Forever 21, Bag - French Connection
Today it rained all day long, which made for a nice change of pace. I woke up late, didn't change out of my pajamas until noon, went out to continue my Christmas shopping, had a huge dinner at my favorite restaurant, and then went to watch a super cool Christmas light show. Took some quick shots of my outfit this morning. This look obviously didn't take much thought. I just reached for things that looked comfortable and rain-ready and layered them all together. I love the combo of cargo green and stripes, so I worked around that. I like this cargo jacket from Volcom because its sweater-like material that softens its utilitarian appeal. Basically another casual chic look for a lazy yet lovely day.
Speaking of rain and all that jazz . . . did any of you have rainy day schedules in elementary school? Rainy days were my favorite at school because it meant lunchtime was spent in the auditorium with all my best friends, eating pizza, making fun of our professors, and getting to watch our favorite movies (Disney). Those were the days. Being a kid was so freaking cool. I always feel most like a kid during this time of the year. Don't you?
