SimplyShamime

I was so excited to share these pictures that I took of my good friend Shamime this past week in Santa Monica because I love them so much! I met Shamime during my junior year at UCLA through my roommate and we've been buds ever since. I haven't seen her since last April, but we made up for all the lost time this past week shopping, talking cute men / not so cute men over vegan food, and just reminiscing on the past and discussing the new. I loved photographing her because she made it so easy with her exotic looks and that voluminous hair that has a life all of its own! Shamime is half Asian Indian and half African American; hence, the overall gorgeousness. She just beams from within! Shamime was always into photography back during university, and now with my blog and all, we both have another common interest to put on the list. Plus, she's got amazing style that reflects her stunning personality, cultural background, and eclectic taste. She says I've always inspired her with my taste in clothes, but now she inspires me! I've been pushing her to start a fashion blog and now I think she is :) She's already got a food blog called Simply Shamime that you can check out. I miss you already Shamime, so please come back to LA soon, but this time stay for good :) I will post the shots that Shamime took of me this day soon!
