I have been so busy these past few weeks with work, life, and just trying to update the blog with outfit posts that I never really had the chance to catch up on any shows from the recent fashion weeks, other than Rodarte (which was fabulous, I must say). Tsk tsk on me. So for now, rather than looking forward to what collections from the upcoming FW 2011 I'm craving the most, I'm going to stay in the present moment and focus on spring. Above are 5 looks from Michael Kor's SS 2011 show and they are my absolute favorites! I've always been a very casual/laidback/always has to be super comfortable kind of girl, and this collection (and these pieces in particular) are right up my alley. I would wear them all in a heartbeat! Classic, timeless, and even a little bit boyish and slouchy in nature. I love the contradiction of neutrals played up with bright bursts of colors and quirky tints of metallic, and Kors did this so well in this collection. Essentials with a playful edge. All I can say is that am crazy for Kors. It's Americana effortlessness at its best, and it's everything I want to be wearing this spring.
