Phew. I am still in recovery and trying to find my braincells that I left scattered all over the island in the last two nights. Firstly, I am just sooo glad halloween is finally over, the costumes were shipped over last minute and I damn near had a heart attack. But they did arrive, and everything turned out splendidly. As you can tell by my photos, we were a retro lakers team. The boys had their shorts pulled up to their waists and their jerseys tucked in with high socks and dorky hair. My own Martian had my geek glasses on, and was really comfortable looking geeky and pouting his lips all night.. the girls did their kicks and slapped people in the faces with their pompoms [by accident].. it was pretty effin' rad. Of course, the rest of the island didnt disappoint. Everyone got creative with their outfits and with that, I am starting that blog that I have been talking about.. starting it with solo shots of the high-flying locals.
We bounced all over the island, making as much noise as possible and by the end of the night I was hoarse from all the noisemaking. But we succeeded in getting everyone's attention, people loved it. The night ended around 5am for us, because I was exhausted and did not wanna see the sunrise for a change.. but we made up for that last night! Hope you all had an amazing halloween.
PS: Sorry for the crotch shot, but I was pretty proud of my kick. I practiced hard! haha
