Just a quick hello and assurance that I am indeed still alive. This week has been a hectic flurry of parties, competition, organizing, drinking, fashion shows, pole dancing, awarding and stripper parties. You can always count on this island to make people a little crazy and invite them to unleash their inner animals.. Its finally Sunday and I can truly say I had an amazing time on the water, the KTA was awesome and the people always smiling and in a great mood despite the added seriousness of competition. I will miss everyone who I met this week but at the same time am excited for the sleep I am going to get this week and the time I am going to spend doing absolutely nothing in bed.
These photos were taken at the KTA opening cocktail party on a roof deck with the most amazing view of both beaches.. where we took advantage of the lighting and I made the very last minute decision of joining the competition.. well, we all do crazy things sometimes, especially when in good company, full of beer and while enjoying the most breathtaking view of the sunset, which left me feeling a bit like I was on acid.
