So, I was getting all nostalgic and went digging through my old picture folder on my laptop and came across lots of old pics of me with bangs. Yes, I used to be a fringe girl. I first had a funny little bowl cut when I was a wee tot and then finally grew the bangs out in the 6th grade. I was bang-free until I got bored one day during my first year of university. Grew them out again my junior year (doesn't that in-between stage always suck so bad?). Got bored once again and took to the scissors myself and cut them (much to the horror of my mother who prefers me bang-less). I was very conflicted when it came to hair during my college days, but aren't we all? Sometimes I miss my bangs and the scissors in my bathroom drawer tempt me persistently, but in the end having the hair out of my eyes is a very nice thing, especially in the summer (plus the fact that people stop referring to me as mushroom head). And I think that my round face shape is much more suited for a bang-less head of hair. But who knows, maybe I will take the plunge and go back again. Anyways, this was just a nice stroll down memory lane. And yes, I really loved spicy noodles as a tiny tot, with a big glass of water to tone down the heat.
In other news, my sister and I spent Monday evening with one of the designers of Stylestalker, Rachel Zeilic. She came to L.A. all the way from Sydney, Australia for work, and she was so nice and beautiful. Got the chance to look at the latest Stylestalker lookbook and everything looks amazing. She's heading back to Australia today and I hope to see her again the next time she comes to California!
