This peachy pink blazer is my new love. Molly Ringwald would have totally rocked this piece like no other during her reigning days as teen queen. The shoulder pads, the bright color, the slightly masculine fit. It's so very 80's! When paired with these trousers I feel like a quirky working girl of some sort. A serious blazer is great for the office, but when worn in this color, so much more life is added to such a practical staple. In turn, I've been thinking a lot about pink lately. The color feels so right this season - light, fresh, carefree, and young. It used to be my favorite color in junior high school but then slowly started to fade from my daily rotation until I hardly wore it all anymore. I definitely want to reverse this trend and wear it more often from now on. And since I am so drawn to blazers, this piece seemed like the perfect way to kick start my new color exploration into the world of cupcake hues. What do you think?
