ChloƩ is one my favorite designer brands, and I am always on the lookout for pieces that help me recreate its minimalist and soft aesthetic that I crave so much. And when I can find these pieces at bargain prices . . . even better! I love shopping the sale racks, thrift stores, and consignment shops. I even sometimes hit up the estate sales when I feel like getting my hands dirty in piles of old-school designer stuff that I know I won't find anywhere else. It's all about having a good eye for impeccable tailoring and fabrics, but sometimes it's all about luck (like the time I scored my vintage Chanel purse). I am at true believer that you don't have to spend a fortune to look and feel like a million bucks. Personal style doesn't have a price tag. There are fashionable treasures everywhere and it's up to you to get creative to make them work.
This silk blush-toned blouse is one of my most recent vintage purchases. It's seriously the softest, most luxurious silk I have ever felt. And it doesn't seem to ever wrinkle. The craftsmanship that goes into vintage clothing really goes far and beyond anything we can find at any high street shop today. Every single detail is taken into account and looks like its been made with love. What would I do without vintage? And then there is this vintage chain belt picked up a few years ago while in the midst of my anything gold chain obsession. I feel like I haven't worn it in forever. But it's yummy pastel color is charming me into wearing it nonstop once again. And one cannot lose with silk trousers. Totally timeless. Silk on silk. The epitome of easy and refined dressing. I want to wear this kind of outfit every single day.
