Silk Blouse - vintage, Denim Leggings - Free People, Purse - vintage Bally, Necklace - Forever 21, Shoes - Salvatore Ferragamo

I'm about to head out, but I wanted to fit in this morning post for you all. This outfit makes me feel all dressed up without getting all dressed up. Most of the time, I like to dress simply - just a blouse, skinny jeans, flats, and I'm ready for business. But it's the little details that can make a basic outfit look and feel luxurious. This silk blouse is so soft, and its little dots lend a childish whimsy that reminds me of being a little girl. When it comes to jeans, I like mine super skinny, hip hugging, and comfortable to move in. Fit is everything when it comes to my choice in denim, and none is more easy to wear than a pair that stretches to the max. Then it comes to shoes. Nothing is more classy than a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo bow-front pumps. I was so lucky to find these brand new at an estate sale last year. And in my size! I will be wearing these babies forever. Topped off with a timeless chain purse and a siren red lip, and I've got a go-to look that I can rely on again and again. It's the little things in an outfit that count. As long as you love it . . . wear it!

Last night I was watching a TV special on 70's Canadian rock band RUSH. They were kind of forgotten amongst the world's greatest rock bands, but their mind-blowing sound have inspired so many of the musicians we know today. I am kind of obsessed with them now. They are pure rock and roll, just the way I like!

And check out my interview with the lovely Charlene from Candy Kawaii Lover. She is such a lovely girl and I always enjoy visiting her blog!

And look, I was featured on Elle Spain's website along with 59 other fashion bloggers! I am so flattered! Check it out here.
