Look Into My Eyes

I was totally sure that I lost these pictures, but now that I came across them again I thought that I would share them with you all. The first picture was the front of my old modeling comp card. I was 15 when I took these pictures and they are from my first photo shoot. Yes, I tried my hand at modeling when I was younger and was with a small Los Angeles agency, but this career excursion didn't last that long. I've always adored the modeling industry and thought it would be a dream to be a part of, but I don't think I was cut out for it (I'm much more of a behind the scenes kind of girl). And after being rejected by every agency I saw in New York (I was either too young, too cute, too commercial, too plain, etc.), I was drained and I knew that it wasn't for me. I wasn't going to sacrifice my self-confidence and state of mind for a career that depended so much on my looks. So I concentrated on school and everything else that I loved, and here I am now (funny though, because blogging is in its own way a form of modeling, but one I am much more comfortable with)! I kind of think I look the same, but gosh, I wish my skin still glowed like that. haha. Fun little blast to the past looking at these! I was wearing the stylist/makeup artist's vintage dress and a bra that was much too huge for me since had no boobs whatsoever (and still pretty much don't!).
