Blouse - vintage, Shorts - vintage Lucky Brand, Purse - vintage, Gladiators - Nine West, Bangles - Forever 21
This blouse used to be to be the upper part of a dress that belonged to my mother. I hated the shape of the dress, but I loved the print, so I cut that dress in half just so I could make a top out of it. Now its my new favorite summer blouse! Its ethnic print is so eye-catching . . . reminds me of the batik prints from Bali. Perfect for the beach or a day browsing a farmer's market. I've already snagged up two more vintage floral dresses from my mom. As you can tell, I am really into vintage or thrifted pieces these days. I just get so bored with all the same stuff I see at the the usual shops right now. With vintage, I feel like I am the only one wearing something . . . and it's such a nice tingly feeling that never goes away.
I've also been sporting the Alexander Wang side bride a lot recently. The warm weather really calls for it. It's just such an easy option when I have no clue what to do with my hair, and keeping it all down just seems so blah.
Okay, back to work. Later!
