Lace Blouse - thrifted vintage, Skirt - Urban Outfitters

As you can tell, I am completely and utterly in love with anything having to do with ivory lace. I have been searching far and wide for a simple lace button-up blouse, and my heart just fluttered when I cam across this one on the racks. Score! Buttoning it up all the way to the top makes a huge difference by lending it a very historic Victorian look. Any form of styling that draws attention to an impeccably collared neckline appeals to me very much. It also reminds me of Miu Miu, which is just another reason to love it even more. I was feeling quite the delicate creature the day I wore this (how could I not), and wanted to capture the blouse's romantic quality against some natural light. I think these photos really do it justice, thanks to my sister's amazing photography skills. We've both been experimenting and working towards making a better picture. It's all a beautiful learning process.

And for all you Americans, I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July! I actually hope you all had a wonderful Sunday even if you don't celebrate this day where you are. I spent mine painting my home's brick path, laying in the sun, munching on yummy American food, and enjoying the fireworks with the one's I love. I took outfit pics, but I haven't looked at them yet. I will get them on the blog soon!
