Skirt - ASOS, Sweater - Bebe, Denim Jacket - GAP, Oversized Cowl Scarf - Deen + Gray, Bag - French Connection, Shoes - Kate Spade
It looks like the cold weather is finally taking its toll on me. I've been drinking loads of green tea while I wait for my sore throat and cough to go away. But it just seems to be getting worse. The only thing making me feel better at the moment are the reruns of Bruce Almighty on television and this rust colored pencil skirt. I find myself really drawn to this color this season, and when I saw this piece on ASOS I had to snag it up. I kept imagining it paired with baby blue denim, and since this jacket was the only thing in my closet in that material and color, on it went. A denim jacket may not do wonders when it comes to shielding against a strong winter-like wind, but at least it looks cool. This cowl scarf was hand knitted for me earlier this year by the lovely Kade of Deen + Gray. It's so warm and snuggle-worthy that I keep petting it whenever I have it on. Thank goodness for chunky knits this season because it's freezing outside. Oh, and my mom got me this bag over the weekend. It is the ultimate everyday bag and the leather is super duper soft. I love it! Thanks mom!
