Burberry's Bailey lets rain on his parade at PRORSUM, Milan A/W'11/12

It’s safe to say that something is getting Christopher Bailey down.  Eschewing his normal perky indie rock, the designer chose to open his show with the melancholy tones of Dusty Springfield’s ‘You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me’ and a torrential rainstorm backdrop.
Was this a message to the critics who had lambasted his Spring/Summer collection, those who had rained on his parade?
