Outfit from a few days ago, before the heat came. This vintage wool sweater with gold metallic threading is one of the pieces I found while thrifting last weekend. I adore the decadence and luxuriousness that metallic tones provide to its wearer. Mix this with the comfort and warmth of a sweater, and well . . . gold has been struck! I even wore this sweater to my first day of work last Monday. Maybe I'm being superstitious, but I think gold is a little bit lucky. Either that, or I am just confusing luckiness with prettiness. Whatever. I like gold. Simple as that. I've been wanting to wear this Stylestalker tank for quite a while, but never knew what exactly I wanted to wear with it or how I wanted to wear it. It felt like more of a summer piece to me, but somehow it fit in perfectly with this casual look on a mild winter day (even though it still looks like fall). Oh, and the SOLD Design Lab pull-on jeans I am wearing? Superb. I've been wearing them day after day after day. I have work in a little bit. Hopefully traffic isn't too terrible.
