Sunday Inspiration

It has been a long and busy week, full of work and more work. I couldn't be happier that another lazy Sunday is here. And what better way to celebrate than with a little inspiration to lift the mood? We have been having beautiful weather lately in SoCal, full of beaming sunshine and warm breezes. It's as if winter ran away and spring has sneaked up on us early. So I thought that I would share with you all some images that make me feel warm and fuzzy inside, like a good cup of coffee, a page-turning book under the covers, or an endless roam on a beach during summer.

This outfit just screams spring in all its pretty color glory. Can I have that hat please?

Who knew powdery soft pastels and loud leopard printed booties could be such good friends?

Pretty In Pink. This will always be one of my favorite 80's movies, as well as one of my greatest fashion inspirations. Molly, I heart you!

I will always have a soft spot for lace every season, but I love it the most during springtime. I like it worn with tough elements, like a pair of boyish boots.

All I can say is that I really dig this model's hair. Why can't more guys sport this, too, and look this good?

Reminds me, I should wear my hair in a bun more often. It's refreshing to get the hair off your back so that you face the day with a bright, unhindered eyes.

Horses running wild. How about we model ourselves after these strong and mighty creatures this new year? We have places to go and explore, and no time to hold ourselves back.

Childhood friendships. You never forget them.

I don't have a trench coat, but I think that this would be the perfect one for me. Classic and edgy at the same time.

I need more black jewelry in my life. I'd stack them on like this girl with shots of gold and a big old ring to top it off.

Devon Aoki. My favorite Hapa model. Who doesn't love that baby doll face?

If only I could feel as confident as this naked on a beach with only a straw hat to hide behind.

2011. The continuation of the never ending search for THE rocker tee.

Maxi skirts are always on my mind and I'm always collecting them. One in this peachy keen color would make a fantastic addition to my wardrobe.

A fluid sunburst always makes me smile and think lovely thoughts.

Don't be afraid to laugh at yourself. It's not that hard and it feels really great. A good sense of humor is a remedy for everything.
