Jacket - ASOS, Top - Moschino Cheap and Chic, Jeans - courtesy of Rich & Skinny, Adair Boots - 80%20 from 80's Purple, Bag - French Connection
Sometimes all I need are some vibrant florals, down-to-earth cargo, and fit-like-a-glove denim to face the day. I must say that these Rich & Skinny Zip Legging Jeans are superb. They don't stretch out even after multiple days of wear and they feel like leggings without looking like leggings. Now that takes talent. What more can a denim-lover ask for? And these 80%20 boots are really a gift from heaven. They do an awesome job at keeping my feet dry and warm (like during the massive rains we had not too long ago). They are both chic and tough, which is a perfect combination in my opinion. I bought this coat for my mom, but of course, I get to wear it whenever I want. I like it without the detachable furry lining, and the toggle buttons make it childish and playful. Nostalgic memories generated by a piece of clothing are always the best.
In other good news, on Sunday it snowed out here in the valley outside of Los Angeles! That happens only like once every 20 years or something. Right after lunchtime, what first started off as a slow rain transformed into a light winter snowfall; thus, our sleepy suburban town turned into the powder white winter wonderland it always wished it could be. We got almost an inch of now (yeah, not much I know), but it was enough to call for a celebration. We're all over the news! That day went down in history (and the kids all over town had lots of fun). The snow is all gone now, but at least we have our memories to remember it all by. This new year has definitely started off on a good foot.
Oh, and how do you like the new blog layout? I wanted something simple, clean, and pulled together for the new year. I really love it :)
