Crocheted Dreams

Crochet top, Skirt, and Belt -vintage, Shoes - Kate Spade, Sunglasses - 80's Purple

Pairing this vintage crocheted top with this skirt was an absolute last second thought before rushing out the door for a weekend lunch date. I was surprised at how well it's intricate crocheted pattern went with the repeating diamond print on this skirt. I love it when it all comes together effortlessly like this. It makes life so much more easier. I've already bean busting out my spring season essentials since the weather has been so amazing recently. Adios winter. It's as if you were never here in the first place. Personally, I don't really mind. My brain is already in summer mode. Come to think of it, I need a lot more shorts. And my legs are in dire need of a tan. I will update my to-buy list once my shopping diet is over. Another 2 weeks to go. But I have a feeling that I will be breaking this little cleanse soon. But I'm trying to stick it out the best that I can!

In other news, the photo shoot that my sister and I did with the amazingly talented photographer Carmen Chan on Friday was so great. It was shot in our home, so when it comes out you will finally see a little bit of my personal space and closet (as well as my quite messy working area).
I cannot wait to see the final result! Hopefully within a month it will make its big debut :) Also, have you noticed anything different about my blog? Why the name, of course! COLOR ME NANA. Over the weekend I came to thinking that I quite missed my blog's original name from way back when I started blogging in the summer of 2008. It's just so much more me. So I went ahead and changed it. Hope you like it!
