  Design duo creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri
   and Pier Paolo Piccioli shows a well cut and refined
   collection in Paris. Mixing tradition with the new.
    Traditions embraced by the Italian and English man.
    The shapes for this collection are not radical.
    They are rough-and-tumble classics.
     Military and safari inspired jackets, camp shirts,
     cargo shorts and hooded tops are all part of this
      casual collection. The featherlight chambray blazers
     are woven through with silk to catch the light.
    In this Valentino collection denim. linen and cotton
     drill is rather prominent.  
    A leather version of the camp shirt is soft and pliant
    enough to be almost nylon.
   The Valentino man can tie all these
   moments together!
   A feeling of military and camp mad!
