It is reminiscent of the famous Lindbergh shoot starring Amber Valetta for Harper's Bazaar in 1993, that became iconic editorial for it's beautiful cityscape & juxtaposition of gritty NYC and Angel Amber wandering like a lost soul through the city. The shoot was inspired by the 1987 film Der Himmel über Berlin '(Wings of Desire), by Wim Wenders about two angels wandering forlornly around Berlin, invisible to humans. "I think we may have been the first people to close down a part of Times Square for a shoot. It was unheard of at the time," Amber said. I saw some of the original photographs at a Lindbergh exhibition in Vienna in 1998 at a gallery in (or near?) the Hundertwasser house - absolutely stunning.
