topshop bathing suit, DIY and island bracelets, feather earring by my friend Bang - I'd be lying If I didn't admit to being inspired by Natasha Khan of Bat for Lashes and her pseudo hippie style.. I woke up this morning feeling especially playful and decided to take and dive into my makeup kit and smear everything I could find on my face. It was so much fun I have decided to add another task on my endless list of things to do.. and it involves feathers, plenty of feathers..
- I wish I could say that I have been making more dresses, but the weather these days has been absolutely heavenly and each time I grab a pile of fabric and move towards my machine, the sunlight outside catches my eye in such a seductive manner that I just cant resist hopping into the first pair of bathers I can find and running out towards the infinite blue. The good news is, I am no longer as pale as I was a couple of weeks ago.. I guess the dresses can wait.
- My good friend Diane wore one of my dresses to a wedding last week.. I will post a photo as soon as I can get my hands on a high res copy, but she looked amazing! And I was so proud to see someone else wearing a dress I made. I am now planning a trip into the next city to search for more fabric.. my mind is overflowing with wicked little ideas.
