They had transferred to a new spot and the only way of getting there was on unfinished roads and by wading through water.. but when we finally made it there were no regrets, it was so worth it. Very reminiscent of the movie The Beach where they had to jump a waterfall to get to the secret spot. The crowd was amazing, only locals and semi-locals (6 months out of the year kinda locals)..
I was smart enough to bring something to quench my thirst - my own bottle of Jack. That decision wasn't so smart the day after.. and now I'm on day two of being sick with a fever. But then again, it might just be a massive Jack hangover! Oh why oh why did we drink straight from the bottle......
