My Favorite looks from 2012 Resort Collections

How has everyone's week been going? I have been busy at work. Today I wanted to share some of my favorite looks from this runway season: Resort 2012. These are the looks that come out before the designers show their fall looks in September. I love looking at designer shows because it shows what's coming ahead in the season. I like to use it as inspiration when I am shopping for myself and for styling references.

"Louis Vuitton" This image is from their lookbook and I love the styling! The collection was inspired by 60's and 70's French film.

"Calvin Klein" always clean, classic, designs.

"Donna Karen" this collections theme was 'body forms'. I love the simplicity and punch of color on the garment.

"Marc Jacobs" He is every girls favorite! This collection is just fun and Flirty!

"Derek Lam" This collection was inspired by 'beach life in Phuket'. The colors used definitely reflect the inspiration used. He is an amazing young designer.

"Narciso Rodriguez" He is a designer I never stop following. I am always a fan of his work. His designs are always clean with pops of color. This collection has graphics with touches of color but mostly black and white.
