I am not blogging a great deal because this week has to be the worst week for fashion!
Every celebrity is boring me to tears so I am just not going to waste my precious time. Where is Iman or Cate Blanchett, when you desperately need them?
However, Anne Hathaway did catch my eye in this beautiful embroidered fishtail Alexander McQueen dress to her new movie, "One Day" London premiere.
She looked pretty but her tan whip-stitched Alexander McQueen heels were a big snooze paired with this dress.
Side swept hair, white skull Alexander McQueen clutch and rose lips completed her look.
Anne Hathaway had many looks this year at the Oscars since she did co-host with my favorite James Franco. Here are a couple of looks and I think she had 12 in all. Rachel Zoe did an awesome job styling and I have to say the opening look was my favorite (and the fringe gold ODLR).
Anne Hathaway is on the cover of November Vogue. She has a beautiful spread shot by Mario Testino. Tonne Goodman is the fashion editor for this spread. Happily Ever After is the title of this feature and anne looks like royalty in each shot.
Six o'clock already I was just in the middle of a dream I was kissin' Valentino By a crystal blue Italian stream But I can't be late 'Cause then I guess I just won't get paid These are the days When you wish your bed was already made
It's just another manic Monday I wish it was Sunday 'Cause that's my funday My I don't have to runday It's just another manic Monday
Have to catch an early train Got to be to work by nine And if I had an air-o-plane I still couldn't make it on time 'Cause it takes me so long Just to figure out what I'm gonna wear Blame it on the train But the boss is already there
All of the nights Why did my lover have to pick last night To get down Doesn't it matter That I have to feed the both of us Employment's down He tells me in his bedroom voice C'mon honey, let's go make some noise Time it goes so fast When you're having fun
Actress Anne Hathaway kissin' Valentino at the premiere of the film "Valentino: The Last Emperor" in New York March 17, 2009:
"Manic Monday" (1986) was the first hit single from The Bangles. It was written by Prince in 1984 and recorded as a duet for the Apollonia 6 album, but the song was eventually pulled.
Two years later, as he was attempting to "court" singer Susanna Hoffs of the band The Bangles, Prince, using the pseudonym Christopher, [2] offered the song to them to record their version. The song reached #2 in both the UK and US record charts, coincidentally behind Prince's own song "Kiss", which reached #1 in the US.
The lyrics tell of someone waking from a romantic dream at 6 o'clock on Monday morning, and facing a hectic journey to work when she would prefer to still be enjoying relaxing on Sunday—her "I-don't-have-to-run day". Actor Rudolph Valentino is referred to in some of the lyrics in the song.
I am so envious of Susanna Hoffs....I can't imagine a more romantic gesture than having Prince offer you one of his songs.
