Lucy in Disguise launches Ready to Wear collection in Harvey Nichols

Extending their repertoire to those who love the idea of vintage but don't wish to buy pre-worn items (silly people), celebrity sisters, Lily and Sarah Allen's shared passion for vintage and fashion is the start point for a ready-to-wear collection centred around the idea of style, capturing the verve and essence of each significant decade and adding a little 21st Century flair.

Olivier Theyskens for Theory at Harvey Nichols

After introducing his first collection for Theory last September, designer Olivier Theyskens, one time Creative Director of Rochas before it was discontinued by its owners, Proctor & Gamble, (you can boo at this point), signed a deal to become Artistic Director for Theory.  Great news for Theory.  Stupendous news for Theyskens' hard core followers.

And artistic, Theykskens is, in more ways

Chutzpah's Weekly Barometer

A light hearted look back over the past week’s good, bad and indifferent including the “don’t even go there’s”.

LOVING

Anya Hindmarch bespoke men's luggage  Ms H does it again.  Really rather beautiful (despite Dylan Jones' involvement).  Miaow.

While we're salivating for images and details of his SS '11 collection, (pictures only available from January 2011, the very chic of the man), he's only gone and developed a Limited

Harvey Nichols goes loco for Lula.

Follow my blog with bloglovinLula magazine (http://http://www.lulamag.com/) is one of those trendy mags that makes anyone over the age of 40 feel 90. Yes, it's unabashedly stylish and has a charming idiosyncratic style but I remember the days when I'd have thought Lula really edgy and kooky. Now, I just like good photography on women (nor girls) without bunches and blue Smurf like Katy Perry hair

I mean, all they really had to do was mention Tom Ford and lipstick and I was so there. I'm talking about the exciting and long awaited new launch of the smooth, sleek and uber stylish range of make-up, starting with lipsticks, from from the God of Fashion - Tom Ford. Would we expect anything else other than drop dead gorgeous from the new Tom Ford Private Blend Lip Colour Collection? Everything

A Fragrant Affair.

As we exit slowly from our long period of enforced Narnian weather conditions to a little more heat and a lot more light, our moods gradually change. We welcome Spring, the light, the colour and the fragrant things it brings. Well, I do anyway, being a renowned fragrance junkette. I try everything. And I mean everything that's launched in the hope that I'll hit upon a rare gem that will become

Something sneaky

There's something sneaky going on. For Spring 2010, a girl can't move without having her favourite designer brand going all street and designing trainers or sneakers as some would say, though I find that an Americanism too far.In an attempt to capture the youth market, add verve to the brand and create covetable 'must have' seasonal merchandise, some big name designers have extended their
