And we don't need them to cast the fate we have

"Are you done being anti-social?" Is something I hear quite often these days.. maybe its a part of growing up and becoming more aware of how you spend your time and whether or not crawling home due to irreparable intoxication is the way to kill the hours.. lately I have opted more for the mellow things in life I haven't enjoyed due to my choices in profession, alas, being at my Nanas house is allowing me to expose my hidden talents in domestication. I am going all Martha Stewart on you, brace yourselves.

My Nana has proceeded to gifting me with an expensive behemoth of a cookbook, followed with the statement of my having to learn how to feed a man before I get married.. not that that's been on my mind or anything, but with the hope of possibly becoming the proud owner of a kitchen this year, I figured it might be time to strap on that frilly polka dotted apron my mom gave me years ago. Today I made pizza (with the help of our baking lady of course).. and sometime this week I will have to do it on my own I was told. Oh, the pressure. If I get the hang of this whole thing by the time I finish the two cooking classes I signed up for, then this could become a real expensive little project. I have already been eyeing a pink standing electric mixer..
Last night I finally decided to cheat on my no liquor diet so I met up with friends and undoubtedly opened Pandora's box by busting out the Absinthe. Luckily I was still sober enough at 3am remember that I needed to be up for lunch the next day, and so I fought my way out of the mosh pit at vudu and climbed into the next cab.. tonight is another night.
