We are the champions, my friend.

Game day two, the weather was crazy. It was pouring in the morning and the first games had to be delayed, because there was some lightning and heck, nobody wanted to become barbeque that day. So we waited and waited for the sky to clear, and finally when it did, it became uber-scorching hot. I pranced around in my usual island getup and added a sarong over my head towards noon, in a desperate attempt to end the day without a heatstroke, but to no avail. Oh well. I was so thirsty even vodka was good enough to quench the unquenchable.

Oh and I dont know if you have noticed but I have.. why do I do that wierd twisting thing with my legs/feet? Thats so very weird.

Here are the teams, with Boracay Island Vice Mayor John Yap. The final score between the Dragons A and B, was 13-15, it was an amazing game and I cant wait for wednesday and the viewing of all the video footage. Congratulations, Dragons!

I applied some of my photoshop skills to remove someone from the photo who wasnt supposed to be there. Meh.
And lastly, here is a snapshot of the most beautifullest little girl in the world.. my god daughter. She is the funniest baby ever!

More shopping and food.

Well kids, I am back in the motherland, but still in the city and therefore have almost zero time to get my butt online to do posts but I couldnt resist, and since I have a whole stack of outfit posts, I figured I might as well continue posting the photos..

I took almost as many food as outfit photos on my little vacation, but in an attempt to keep this a style blog, I shall only post one photo of something edible.. until maybe tomorrow. Ha. The tournament was amazing, both our teams took home 1st and 2nd, which makes me uber-proud to be part of the boracay dragons family! We won medals, cash and a trophy which we proceeded to drink rhum, vodka and gin out of, even if the bottom of the cup had the tiniest leak, and we had to drink fast to avoid wastage of our precious exported liquor. All that and the possble heatstrokes meant that by midnight most of us were babbling like a bunch of babies, and by 3am there was loads of swearing and shouting and drawing on eachother's clothes going on outside. I blame it on the gin. And the rhum. But mostly on the vodka.

This is what I wore to go shopping on day 1 of the tournament. It was so incredibly hot I was fantasizing about heading to the mall in my bikini.

Dragons White; prayers before the game.

While shopping I stumbled onto a crafts fare at Vivo City, where they sell this odd clay like material you can use to create these babies. I wanted to eat everything on that table it looked so yummy, the photos dont do it justice. Or maybe its just me. Meh.

Oh and umm I couldnt resist, so here is what was my lunch. It was delicious! Dont ask me what it is, all I know is it has chicken. Hmm.

PS: I only posted that closeup to officially announce that I am mourning the loss of my purple sunnies that I lost somewhere in singapore.. grr.

For they shall try yet again to slay the unslayable...

I shall be heading to Singapore for our Beach Ultimate Frisbee Tournament, to support my teams, the Boracay Dragons white and blue. The event will be at Sentosa, I assume it will be all day on the 4th and the 5th of october, so If you are from Singapore, come on down and check it out. Since I wont be playing this tournament, I will probably be tanning on the sidelines [IF we are blessed with sunny skies], doing my uncoordinated cartwheels, dancing or running around Sentosa looking for Ben & Jerry's and such. Im also super excited about the shopping and cant wait to post about it.. All the singaporeans out there if you have any last words about amazing shopping spots, your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Now, if only the weather would cooperate, then nothing can stand in the way of another grand mini-vacay.
Singapore, here we come!
